We need to look at what vehicles we are taking and what time we are setting off.

Mr Not got a medal

Kilo to go rules & regs state to get a medal the climb starts at the very bottom of the hill and not 20 metres before the pub and once past the time keeper MUST keep going to the very top.I expect some may be going to ask for their sins to be for given.
Mr Also not got a medal

I am happy that I completely failed to cycle the complete distance of the Mow Cop Hill and so did not get a medal. Next time I will plan the hill better and walk up the first mile and a half and cycle the last 50 yards to aceive medal status, not the other way round, or is that cheating. Dont agree with suggested motto. Its all down to preparation

Point of order on the above comment.....as its called the " Killer mile " which bit after the Mow cap will you be riding on if you walk the first mile and a half?

Mr Fussy about the Length of the hill
31/3/2010 07:43:28 pm
The point being that the length of the hill from the junction to the top is approx 1.6 miles with plenty of opportuity to rest!! The judged distance was well short of the killer mile which actually finished past the junction at the top of the hill. (Plaque on the wall and line across the road) Thus, all medals should be classed as nul and void and returned to Kilo to Go!

As a close neighbour of that Big lad Frets when I lived at my mums before she moved , I advised him to use a 3 set chain ring for the Killer Mile , so as mentioned its all down to preparation. Comments are closed.
